Summary:
Consumer Insight, Measurement & Analytics (CIMA) is part of the Finance organization within Disney Parks, Experiences and Products (DPEP).
CIMA influences decision making with integrated, objective, and actionable insights.
Within CIMA, the Digital & Travel Operations Analytics (DTOA) team provides analysis across the primary modes used by Guests/clients for vacation discover, planning, transacting, and management to enable decision making and optimization.
The Senior Omni-Channel Analyst is a key contributor to the DTOA Analytics team.
They will have the opportunity to work with large data sets and cloud environment tools, and become a subject matter expert with data and source systems used within lines of business supported by CIMA.
In order to succeed in the role, the Senior Omni-Channel Analyst must possess a passion for data, quality assurance, and analysis as this role will support partners and clients with data architecture, queries, and processes to enable more efficient and consistent reporting and analysis in the organization.
In order to excel in the role, the Senior Omni-Channel Analyst must further the analytical sophistication of the team.
The position reports to the Manager, Digital Analytics and does not have direct reports.
Responsibilities:
The Senior Omni-Channel Analyst's key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Data Strategy / ArchitectureWork with business partners to determine needs and requirementsIdentify and document data requirements to support both ongoing and ad hoc analysisLearn new data sets from various lines of business, to develop an expertise in those data setsPartner with the Data Services team to manage new data requests, document and automate data processes, and apply business logic to source data.
Data Analysis and InsightsQA data to ensure accuracyAnalyze and mine data to find opportunities in time allottedUndertake proactive and reactive ad-hoc requests as neededMake business recommendations based on the data findingsDrive more efficient and sophisticated analytical insightsData Delivery / DistributionDevelop efficient and value added queries / analyst tables for ongoing and adhoc analysisConvey and highlight recommendations to 'tell the story' with dataEnsure partners understand the data / tables / processesBasic
